The Vagabond Hotel Singapore
Housed in a colonial-era Art Deco building in the heart of the Central Heritage District, The Vagabond Hotel Singapore is a luxury boutique hotel where everything is taken to excess.
It is no coincidence that the reigning slogan here is: “If you’re going to get into trouble, do it at the Vagabond.”
The hotel marks the Asian debut of French designer Jacques Garcia, who dedicated meticulous attention to every single detail of this property.
The long-standing collaboration between Garcia’s studio and Zonca Lighting has once again produced extraordinary results in this project: numerous solutions were conceived, designed, and custom-made, while others were carefully selected from the catalog Les Grands Classiques de Jacques Garcia.
Zonca Lighting’s touch is evident in the quintessentially Italian style and charm, exported and contextualized within an exotic and evocative Southeast Asian setting.
Jane, Oh La Là, Decebale, and Botanique, exclusive pieces from the Zonca collection are masterfully paired with a striking choreography that includes golden Banyan trees in the foyer and handcrafted animal sculptures. Among these, life-size elephants that “lift” the main elevator are particularly impressive, as is the unusual gold replica of a life-sized rhinoceros welcoming guests at the reception desk. Art, elegance, and exces in one word: Hotel Vagabond.
